We decided to create the first file conversion website with user experience in mind. Today Convertio is ranked among the 1000 most visited sites in the world and almost every competitor has already borrowed something from our interface.

Our History
You may already know us from the popular image site ImageResizer.com. Operating this site taught us a lot about converting and optimizing images on a large scale. So naturally, we wanted to use that knowledge to help people easily convert their files.

Coming Soon
we quickly ran out of image converters to make and extended the site to offer audio, video, and even document conversions.

Our Mission
To make it simple and fast to convert one file format to another. We aim for simplicity but also have a powerful API that allows users to fine-tune their conversion parameters.
